Mona B. Hawa is a Lebanese painter whose work defines itself by interweaving a variety of artistic styles and approaches, modern and traditional techniques, as well as classical and abstract aesthetics. Part of her specialty is to break painting down to its most basic elements:
exploring the spectrum of color,
which allows the artist to convey the right tonality and emotion, and
studying the balance of form
to achieve the desired sense of motion or stillness.
